PEH 150 Rubric Use this rubric to score different aspects of a student's presentation.
	Excellent 4 pts	Good 3 pts	Fair 2 pts	Poor 1 pts
Organization Is the presentation well organized? Does it follow sequential steps?	Excellent The presentation is exemplary.	Good The presentation is well-organized throughout most of the duration.	Fair Portions of the presentation are well-organized but the organization is inconsistent.	Poor The presentation isn't well-organized and its disorganization hurts its effectiveness.
Clarity Is the presentation clear? Is it easy for the audience to follow instructions?	Excellent The presentation maintains clarity throughout the duration.	Good The presentation is mostly clearly.	Fair The presentation is clear in a few places, but lacks clarity throughout most of the duration.	Poor The presentation is incoherent.
Safety Does the presenter emphasize safety and ensure that students perform the activity safely?	Excellent The presenter adheres to all safety procedures and ensures that students perform the activity safely.	Good The presenter adheres to most necessary safety procedures.	Fair The presenter adheres to some safety procedures.	Poor The presenter doesn't exhibit safety and the lack of safety puts students at risk.
Interaction Did the presenter interact with the students and monitor their progress?	Excellent The presenter consistently interacts with students and ensures that they are engaged and attentive.	Good The presenter interacts well with the students and creates a mostly engaging learning experience.	Fair The presenter interacts with the audience occasionally but not nearly enough to create an engaging experience.	Poor The presenter doesn't interact with his or her audience, creating a disconnection.
Equipment Did the instructor use the appropriate equipment properly?	Excellent The presenter uses the equipment properly throughout the duration of the presentation and teaches students how to use the equipment to the fullest extent.	Good The presenter uses the equipment properly.	Fair The presenter occasionally uses the equipment properly.	Poor The presenter doesn't use or teach how to use the equipment properly.
