These are the criteria I'll use to determine the grade for each dance taught in the class.

Knowledge movement/choreography	3 The pupils have the ability to execute the movements correctly. They perform with the correct placement of hands, feet, legs w/o guidance or copying from others.	2 The pupils have the ability to execute the movements correctly. They perform with the correct placement of hands, feet, legs with some guidance or copying from others.	1 The pupils execute the movements with some confusion. They copy movements from others.
Rhythm/Tempo	3 The pupil display accuracy in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences.	2 The pupil shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but sometimes falls behind and/or speeds up in places The pupil may also make errors in rhythm.	1 The pupil shows an attempt to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music.
Enthusiasm	3 The pupil shows enthusiasm during practices, preparation of props and on the performance itself.
