Dance Presentation 
In groups, students are creating and rehearsing a dance to perform infront of the class. Students have learned a variety of dance styles and moves to assist them in the brainstorming process.

Level 4

Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the choreography.
and does it well.
Level 3

Demonstrates good knowledge of choreography. Keeps up with group. Few errors, however it does not interfer with performance.
Level 2

Demonstrates some knowledge of choreography. Some errors. Usually hesitates/ watches others.
Level 1

Demonstrates no knowledge of choreography. Did not participate in rehearsels. Not following along/ not looking to group for guidance.
Technical skills

Level 4

Dance performed with great attention to quality of movement, body position, placement on stage and other details of dance. Also demonstrates an excellent understanding of dance style.
Level 3

Dance performed with attention to details of technique, has attained proficiency in dance style.
Level 2

Dance performed with attention to some details of technique, but hasn't attained proficiency in dance style yet. (footwork, quality of movements, body positions, etc.)
Level 1

Only minimal understanding of technical elements (ie. footwork, quality of movements, body positions) demonstrated in performance.
Collaboration

Level 4

Is able to independently collaborate and work with others. Understands how to solve disagreements with others in a respectful and effective way.
Level 3

Is able to collaborate and work with others with some teacher intervention. Understands how to solve disagreements with others with teacher assistance.
Level 2

Struggling to collaborate and work with others. Needs direct teacher intervention to solve issues and disagreements with others.
Level 1

Cannot collaborate and work with others. Does not value the opinions or throughts of others and cannot solve disagreements even with teacher intervention.
