Poor

Students will either run or stand flat footed but will preform an illegal through by lifting a foot. They will not have brought ball behind head. The ball will not fly a great distance.
Fair

Students will be able to stand with flat footed and bring ball behind head, releasing ball slightly late and not achieve maximum distance, and following through with hands pointing at target.
Good

Student will be able to run and drag back foot, while bring ball behind head, releasing the above head for greatest distance, and following through with hands pointing at target.
Heading

Poor

Students will duck and miss the ball. If student heads ball they will let ball hit them on the top of the head. There stance will be feet together.
Fair

Student will be in an athletic stance. They will do a bobbing action to head the ball. They will head the ball with their forehead.
Good

Students will be able to correctly preform heading a soccer ball. They will be in an athletic stance, head will come back, and snap through the ball, and ball will hit their forehead.
Overall perfomance for heading

Poor

Student will be able to correctly preform heading a ball, during a heading drill, performing 1-3 out of 10 correctly.
Fair

Students will be able to correctly preform heading a ball, during a heading drill, performing 4-5 out of 10 correctly.
Good

Students will be able to correctly preform heading a ball, during a heading drill preforming 6 out of 10 correctly.
Overall Performance of Throw-ins

Poor

Students will be able to correctly preform throw ins during a game situation doing 1-5 out of 10 correctly.
Fair

Students will be able to correctly preform throw ins during a game situation doing 6-7 out of 10 correctly.
