Radial Design	Beginning Student's radial design is incomplete.	Developing Student did not use radial symmetry when creating the design, but the design was complete.	Proficient Student used radial symmetry on most of the design.	Advanced Student used radial symmetry on all of the design.
Feather Design	Beginning Student's feathers are incomplete.	Developing Student drew feathers, but no hidden designs.	Proficient Most of the feathers have a hidden design.	Advanced All feathers have one hidden design.
Watercolor/Oil Pastel Technique	Beginning Student did not attempt any watercolor techniques.	Developing Student attempted 1 watercolor technique but used 1 or fewer oil pastel colors.	Proficient Student attempted 2 watercolor techniques and used 2-3 oil pastel colors.	Advanced Student attempted 2 watercolor techniques and used a large variety of oil pastel colors.
Effort/Craftsmanship	Beginning Student did not put forth effort in the drawing and planning of the design. Student did not put forth effort into the presentation of the final piece.	Developing Student put forth some effort in the drawing and planning of the design. Lack of details. Artwork is somewhat messy, many visible pencil lines still present.
