Research	Poor Little to no research was conducted. The facilities are not appropriate for the livestock animal of their choice.	Fair Student did some research, but not enough to design proper facilities for their livestock.	Good Student thoroughly researched the livestock animal of their choice in order to design the proper facilities.
Design	Poor The design is very poor or unrealistic. It is evident the selected species could not live or thrive in this environment.	Fair The design is very good, but could use improvement. Some aspects are unrealistic or will not provide for the care requirements of the selected species.	Good The design of the facilities is nearly flawless. It is evident the selected species will be able to live and thrive in the environment as designed.
Execution	Poor The student was rarely ever on task, the lack of organization is contributed to the lack of focus on the project.	Fair The student was sometimes on task but needed reminders to work. The project lack organization and logical sequence of development.	Good The student was always on task, working toward the end goal. The project is very organized and was developed in a logical sequence.
Presentation	Poor The student did not apply much effort to the presentation.	Fair The presentation lacked organization but was planned well. The student stayed on track for the most part. The student either went over, or under on the 3 minute time frame.	Good The presentation was well planned and executed very well. The student was able to stay on track and share the highlights of their project within the given amount of time (3 minutes).
