	Unable 0 pts	Learning 1 pts	Working Towards 2 pts	Achieved 3 pts
Catching	Unable Unable to catch the ball.	Learning Eyes closed or turn head away from ball. Does not move to catch ball. Catches ball with straight arms away from body or traps ball between body and arms.	Working Towards Eyes on ball but may flinch. Reaches to catch ball. Catches with hands only.	Achieved Eyes on ball. Moves to catch ball. Catches with hands onlly and brings ball in to chest.
Overhand throw	Unable Unable to throw a ball with an overhand motion because arm is positioned parallel to the ground or arm is straight.	Learning Faces Target. No step. No trunk rotation. Lack of accuracy.	Working Towards Slight front to back stance. Steps with wrong foot. Minimal trunk rotation or bends forward. Inconsistent accuracy.	Achieved Stands with side to target. Steps with correct foot. Transfers weight to the stepping foot. Consistent shoulder and trunk rotation. Consistently accurate.
Dribbling	Unable Unable to dribble the ball one time without losing it.	Learning Contacts ball by slapping. Moves feet when dribbling. Ball is not bounced at a consistent height. Dribbles two or less times.	Working Towards Contacts ball by intermittently slapping. Feet are stationary. Ball is bounced at a more consistent height. Dribbles at least four times.	Achieved Contacts ball without slapping it. Feet remain stationary. Ball is bounced at a consistent height. Dribbles at least eight times. Catches the ball to stop
