Basketball Shooting
	Meets Standard 3 pts	Progressing 2 pts	Beginning 1 pts
Balance	Meets Standard Shoulders are square to basket. Feet are shoulder width apart. Knees are bent.	Progressing Shoulders are slightly off set to basket. Feet are shoulder width apart. Knees are slightly bent.	Beginning Shoulders are not square to basket. Feet are too close. Knees are not bent.
Eyes on Target	Meets Standard The shooter focuses his or her eyes on the target for the duration of the shot.	Progressing The shooter mostly focuses his or her eyes on the target for the duration of the shot.	Beginning The shooter does not focus his or her eyes on the target for the duration of the shot.
Elbow	Meets Standard Elbow is directly under wrist. Non-dominant hand steadies ball.	Progressing Elbow is slightly out to the side. Non-dominant hand steadies ball.	Beginning Elbow is clearly out to the side. Shooter is using two hands to shoot.
Follow Through	Meets Standard Arm is fully extended. Fingers follow through toward target.	Progressing Arm is mostly extended. Fingers follow through toward target.	Beginning Arm is barely extended. Does not follow through toward target.
