Short Story Short Story Each student must write a short story. It must be 10-12 sentences. It can be fiction or non-fiction. Use our Vocabulary Words to help you with your story. Content	Needs Work! -Student had poor or no plot points. -There was no beginning, middle, or end. -There were only a few sentences.	Good Job! -Student had good plot points. -The beginning, middle, and end was unclear. -It was a little under the required length.	Great Job! -Student had great plot points -There was a clear beginning, middle, and end. -It is the required length.
Handwriting/Grammar	Needs Work! -Student had messy handwriting. -There was poor and incorrect use of grammar. -Student used little or no vocabulary words. -Student showed a lot of mistakes in punctuation and spelling.	Good Job! -Student had good handwriting. -Most of the grammar was correct. -Student used a few vocabulary words. -Student showed some mistakes in punctuation and spelling.
