Advertising Research Project I-4 and I-5 
Conduct marketing research according to the Advertising fact sheet given in class. Create a survey with at least 15 questions (5 demographics/ closed end questions and 10 open ended questions). You will need a research paper and a PowerPoint to explain and report your findings. The Power point will have at least seven slides-Introdution, define the problem, obtain data, analyze data, recommend solutions to the problem, apply the results, closing and a works cited page.

Student has indentified and analyzed a specific problem and has determined the demographic information for their intended audience. Students must present a one page research paper analyzing their research, and a power point presentation. Paper should be typed, double spaced and at least one page. Times new Romen, or /Courier 12 point font. Be sure to include to cite your references.

Student has indentified and analyzed a apecific problem/concern and has determined the demographic information for their intended audience to include, age, gender, ethnic background, grade, etc......in an exceptional manner. Paper is also done in an exceptional manner. Paper is typed, double spaced and at least one page or more. Power Point is also done in an exceptional manner.
Fair

Student has indentified and analyzed a specific problem/concern and has determined the demographic information for their intended audience but one to three areas of the demographics as stated for the criteria of the research is missing. Paper is ok, but not done exceptionally. PowerPoint is done in an acceptable manner.
Poor

Student has indentified and analyzed a specific problem/concern and has determined the demographic information for their intended audience but more than three of the demographics as stated for the criteria of the research is missing. Paper is missing from the assignement and or power point does not cover all elements of the assignement.
Preparedness

Student does not read from paper and is fully prepared for presentation and explains their research.

Great

Students show that they are completely prepared and have rehearsed before the presentation.
Fair

Students seem to be pretty prepared but maybe should have rehearsed more.
Poor

Students do not seem prepared to present.
Posture and Eye Contact

Student displays confidence and competence in their presentation.

Great

Students stand up straight, look confident, speak clearly, and make eye contact during the presentation.
Fair

Students stand up straight, and use some eye contact.
Poor

Students slouch, little or no eye contact.
Knowledge

Student can answer questions about his/her presentation and subject covered.

Great

Presentation was very professional and student answered all questions.
