Typing.com Grade 5 SSCS Typing Test This rubric will be used to give typing grades, using in class typing on Typing.com as the evaluation tool. This rubric provides a standard and consistent way to grade typing across student abilities. Typing/Keyboarding Eval
	Unable to Finish Test 1 pts	5+ Pts Below Grade Proficiency 2 pts	Below Grade Level Proficiency 3 pts	Grade Level Proficient 4 pts
Keyboarding	Unable to Finish Test If a student is unable to finish their Typing Master test. They will receive a grade of 84.	5+ Pts Below Grade Proficiency Student is 5 or more points below the 15 WPM for 3rd Grade level, 20 WPM/4th, 25 WPM/5th expectation on their Typing Master test. Grade begins at 86 for 5 below WPM, and drops 1 point for every WPM below that.	Below Grade Level Proficiency Student is below the 15/20/25 WPM Grade level expectation on their Typing Master test. Grade begins at 92 for 1 below WPM and drops accordingly.	Grade Level Proficient Student meets or exceeds the 15/20/25 WPM Grade level expectation on their Typing Master test.
