iRubric: Effort in Art Class rubric

I am doing one or more of these: paying no attention to directions and demonstrations, guessing at what to do (sometimes by looking at the work of others who may or may not have done things correctly), I'm not sure what the steps are.

I am doing one or more of these: paying a little bit of attention to directions and demonstrations, doing some of what the teacher demonstrated, skipping steps or doing them out of order.

I am paying some attention to directions and demonstrations. I am doing most of what the teacher demonstrated.

I am paying close attention to directions and demonstrations. I am doing everything the teacher demonstrated without skipping any steps.

I don't check my work against teacher examples, directions or rubrics. I do what I "think" is right. I work without trying to figure out if it is correct. I don't ask anyone to give me feedback or advice. I don't make changes when I get feedback from anyone.

I am doing one or more of these: I may check my work against either an example by the teacher, directions or a rubric, I ask for feedback once and only ask the teacher for assistance or feedback if I think I'm totally lost. I change very little of what I am doing based on what the teacher tells me.

I am checking my work against some examples, directions or rubrics by the teacher. I occasionally ask someone for feedback. I usually ask the teacher for assistance or feedback. I change some of what I am doing based on what the teacher tells me.

I am carefully checking my work against all examples, directions, and rubrics by the teacher. I am asking others at my table for feedback and asking the teacher for assistance or feedback. I am changing what I am doing based on what the teacher tells me.
