Tuck One Side Tuck one side of the sheet under a long side of the mattress so a vertical fold is created at the bottom corner of the bed. Spread Blanket Spread the blanket over the bed, aligning its long sides with the mattress's long sides. Position Blanket Position the blanket so there are 6" to 12" between its top and the top edge of the mattress. It should also hang evenly over the long sides. Fold Top of Sheet Fold the loose portion at the top of the flat sheet over the blanket, smooth it out, and tuck in both sides. <BR> TIP: If you have a comforter or thick quilt, you don't need to tuck it in - just place it atop the flat sheet. Spread Bedspread Spread the bedspread over the bed, making sure both sides and the bottom are draped evenly around the bed.
