Knowledge of choreography	Poor Remembers a few of the steps/ movements and tries, but looks lost and out of sync with others. 15 Pts.	Fair Demonstrates some knowledge of choreography, but unsure of some movements. Sometimes hesitates/ watches others and makes some errors 18 Pts.	Good(Mastery) Demonstrates good knowledge of choreography. Keeps up with group. Few errors. 20 Pts.	Excellent Demonstrates excellent knowledge of the choreography. and does it well. 25 Pts.
Performance/Style	Poor The dancer is not very focused, concentrated or committed to performance. 15 Pts.	Fair The dancer is generally focused, but only some attempt made to communicate with others on stage or audience. 18 Pts.	Good(Mastery) The dancer communicates with other dancers and audience through eye contact and facial and body expression. 20 Pts.	Excellent The dancer creates a believable character on stage and is able to engage the audience completely through their performance. 25 Pts.
Rhythm/Tempo	Poor Attempts to keep a rhythm, but gets off beat and speeds up or falls behind often. Doesn't follow beat in music. 15 Pts.	Fair Shows a basic understanding of tempo and beat, but falls behind and/or speeds up in places or makes errors in rhythm. 18 Pts.	Good(Mastery) Generally accurate in beat, tempo, rhythms of dance sequences most of the time. 20 Pts.	Excellent Shows a complete understanding of tempo and beat and stays on rhythmn throughout the dance. 25 Pts.
Cooperation	Poor Little effort made to contribute to success of group. Is not attentive to others, or distracts others during performance. Not prepared and/little effort made on own appearance. 15 Pts.	Fair Cooperative most of time, but not attentive or well prepared. Needs to make more effort on appearance/ costuming. 18 Pts.	Good(Mastery) Cooperative with other performers and organizers. Ready to perform. Attention given to others involved in performance and own appearance on stage. 20 Pts.	Excellent Respect and consideration shown for other performers and organizers of performance. Prepared, well- rehearsed, appropriately costumed and attentive. 25 Pts.
