	Poor 0 pts	Fair 2 pts	Good 3 pts	Superior 4 pts
Safety	Poor Student was unsafe and/or did not follow shop safety rules.	Fair Student was safe, but needed to be reminded several times to follow safety rules. (safety glasses, ladder safety, etc.)	Good Student followed all shop safety rules.	Superior Student followed all safety rules and encouraged others to do the same. Safety was a priority.
Wiring Diagram	Poor Student did not do a wiring diagram.	Fair Wiring Diagram was incomplete or unable to be followed. Wires were not labeled and/or missing.	Good Wiring Diagram was satisfactory and able to be understood.	Superior Wiring Diagram was above and beyond expectations. All wires were labelled and/or color coded. A new student would be able to easily follow the diagram.
Staying on Task	Poor Student frequently left his/her work area. Project was severely incomplete.	Fair Student stayed in work area only after being reminded several times. Project was incomplete.	Good Student stayed in work area and maintained focus on the project. Project could be completed in a reasonable amount of time.	Superior Student maintained focus on the project and was able to finish or almost finish the project. Student set the example.
Tool Selection and Use	Poor Improper tools were used for the various jobs-at-hand.	Fair Several times the student used improper tools for the job, but corrected the mistake after being told.	Good Student used the proper tools for the job-at-hand.	Superior Student used the proper tools for the various jobs and encouraged those working with him/her to do the same.
