Baseball
	Excellent 3 pts	Good 2 pts	Needs Improvement 1 pts
Throwing	Excellent The student throws at least 18 out of 20 times to the catcher.	Good The student throws between 14-17 times to the general area of the catcher.	Needs Improvement The student throws between 0-13 times to the general area of the catcher with some not in the area.
Catching	Excellent The student correctly shows the ready stance, wearing the glove properly, judges ground balls and pop flies very quickly with no drops out of 10.	Good The student is showing the ready stance most of the time, wears the glove correctly, judges ground balls and pop flies with between 1-3 drops out of 10.	Needs Improvement The student is not in the ready stance, does not know how to wear the glove, misjudges ground balls and pop flies with more than 4 drops out of 10.
Hitting	Excellent The student made contact with the ball 10 out of 10 times, demonstrating stepping toward the mound, proper stance, and complete follow through.	Good The student made contact with the ball between 5-7 times, either did not step toward mound, stance was incorrect, or no follow through.	Needs Improvement The student made contact with the ball between 0-4 times, does not understand the correct stance or stepping, and has no follow through.
