Student steps with dominant foot to throw the frisbee. However, the pivot foot is not kept in place (opposition foot).

A pivot foot is established (with the opposition foot) and the student steps with the dominant foot, transferring weight from back foot to front.

Poor

Student does not windup, there is not whipping like motion with wrist when thrown, and arm is lock throughout the entire motion.

Student windups up and throws, but arm does not bend and coil back.

Student snaps wrist "like a towel" quickly toward target, arm coils back toward body in a windup and student displays more "wrist throw" than arm throw.

Stepping out or around

Poor

Student does not step in a unilateral pattern.
Moderate

Student steps with the same foot that they are throwing with, however it is not out or around the defender.

Student steps out or around the defender giving them an easier throw to the target.

Inside-out throw

Poor

Student does not display an inside-out throw and throws an outside-in throw instead.

Student tosses an inside-out throw, however they do not make it to their intended target.

Student displays an inside-out throw in which the frisbee goes out of bounds and comes back in hitting his target in stride.

Fakes

Student does not perform any fakes and keeps their eyes locked on their target the entire time. This does not confuse their defender what so ever.
Moderate

Student "looks off" a defender or two, but does not fake with their body.
Excellent

Student gives multiple fakes in which confuses their defender. They also give a "no-look" pass to succession.
