Ready Position	Always Students pre-shot stance includes bent knees, feet shoulder width apart, and racquet is held firmly at mid-section 100% of attempts.	Usually Students pre-shot stance includes bent knees, feet shoulder width apart, and racquet is held firmly at mid-section <60% of attempts.	Sometimes Students pre-shot stance includes bent knees, feet shoulder width apart, and racquet is held firmly at mid-section 20-40% of attempts.	Never Students pre-shot stance does not bent knees, feet shoulder width apart, and racquet is held firmly at mid-section in any of attempts.
Grip	Always Student uses dominant hand and handshake grip on racquet 100% of attempts.	Usually Student uses dominant hand and handshake grip on racquet <60% of attempts.	Sometimes Student uses dominant hand and handshake grip on racquet 20-40% of attempts.	Never Student does not use dominant hand and handshake grip on racquet in any of attempts.
Footwork	Always Student steps toward target with non-dominant foot on 100% of attempts.	Usually Student steps toward target with non-dominant foot on <60% of attempts.	Sometimes Student steps toward target with non-dominant foot on 20-40% of attempts.	Never Student does not step toward target with non-dominant foot in any of attempts.
Follow Through	Always Student follow through after contact with birdie is on a level plane on 100% of attempts. Never Student does not follow through after contact with birdie on a level plane on any of attempts.
Accuracy	Always Student hits return forehand to partner and can be caught with partner taking one step on 100% of time.	Usually Student hits return forehand to partner and can be caught with partner taking one step on <60% of time.	Sometimes Student hits return forehand to partner and can be caught with partner taking one step on 20-40% of time.	Never Student does not hit return forehand to partner that can be caught within one step on any attempt.
