Google Slide - Alternative Energy/Solar Cars
	Poor 20 pts	Fair 30 pts	Good 40 pts	Excellent 50 pts
Solar Car	Poor Unable to get solar car to work	Fair Solar Car is completed and works some of the time. Explanation of how the car works is given	Good Solar Car is completed and works most of the time. Has an occasional struggle to work. Explanation of components and what they do are given in slides.	Excellent Solar Car is completed and problems are solved so it works consistently. Process for building and detailed explanation of how all the components work is explained in slides. Critical factors in the design are identified and explained.
Experimentation	Poor no mention of any experiments with solar car	Fair Student did some problem solving but not any real experiment to test a hypothesis and draw a conclusion	Good Experiments are conducted but lacking data or explanation to support conclusion	Excellent Experiments are conducted and data is used to test hypothesis.(Different gear ratio, modified wheels, etc. ) Data and final conclusions are shown in the slides.
Energy Investigation	Poor No alternative energy source is investigated	Fair An alternative energy source is investigated but lacks some detail and 2 or more required elements.	Good Alternative energy source is investigated but lacks some detail or missing one of the required elements.	Excellent An alternative energy source is investigated and explained in slides. Slides included detailed pictures of the alternative energy, an explanation of how it works, advantages and disadvantages of energy source, regions where this alternative energy is popular and outlook for the energy in the future. Sources of information are cited.
