Reflective Commentary

Excellent

Reflection clearly explains your inspirations for your work. Fully describes in depth your successes and any changes of each project. Student discusses personal important skill that aids in their art making. Short term and long term goals are set and meaningful. Relevant art terms are used to enrich the reflection.
Good

Not all pieces have the appropriate reflection or they are lacking some depth of information. Art terms are used sparingly or incorrectly in some places.
Fair

There is a general written reflection for the pieces overall. Reflection requirements are not all fulfilled.
Poor

Missing the reflection piece
Aesthetics of Portfolio

Excellent

Layout of images is interesting and easy to read. Images are clear with no unwanted shadow or glare. They are resized properly with appropriate cropping. Font choice is generic and is insignificant. Overall composition is pleasing using principles and basic compositional rules. Reflection is embedded into the slide show.
Good

Layout is good. Some cropping is a little off but no resizing issue. One or more expectations found in the excellent column are not followed.
Fair

Images may be resized incorrectly, poor quality photos or cropped unevenly. Composition is basic.
Poor

Many issues with photo quality, editing, font choice and composition.
