Leaf Prints

The goal of this project is for the students to be able to gather leaves outside and use them as a printing device. The students will apply paint onto the leaves and print the leaf impressions onto paper.

Collect and Gather Leaves	Poor Students do not participate in assignment and do not gather leaves.	Fair Students gather some leaves but stray away from the group and not do not try to find a variety of leaves	Good Students are enthused and gather an abudance of leaves that vary in shape and size.
Utilize the Materials	Poor Students do not use leaves to make leaf imprints.	Fair Students use leaves to make prints for a short time. They begin to use their hands or stray away from the assignment.	Good Students use the leaves consistently to make leaf imprints. They stick to the lesson plan and finish the assignment.
Communicate ideas in visual form	Poor Students do not make any attempt to complete assignment or put thought to it.	Fair Students made some imprints on their paper but have diverted away from the assignment.	Good Students completed the assignment and utilized their materials to create a composition.
