Motor Skill Aptitude	1 Student has the wrong hand on the top and center of the shaft of the hockey stick. Students' body is positioned behind the puck rather than along side it when striking. Student brings the stick back and up over their head and follows through above their waist.	2 Student has the wrong hand on the top and center of the shaft of the hockey stick. Students' body is positioned correctly on the side of the puck when striking. Student brings the stick back below their waist during the wind up and follows through below their waist.	3 Student has their hands positioned correctly on the end cap and shaft of the stick. Students' body is positioned correctly on the side of the puck when striking. Student brings the stick back below their waist during the wind up and follows through below their waist.
Accuracy	1 Students' body is positioned incorrectly and the pass veers off far left or far right.	2 Student maintains correct body positioning but follows through on an angle where the puck veers slightly to the left or to the right.	3 Students stands on the side of the puck with their dominant hand on the center of the shaft and their palm facing their target. They follow through straight toward their target and the puck meets their partners stick.
Spatial Awareness	1 Students' stick goes above their head on the wind back and they follow through above their waist unaware of others that may be in their personal space. Student is standing behind the puck.	2 Students' stick goes above their head on the wind back and they follow through above their waist unaware of others that may be in their personal space. Student is standing correctly on the side of the puck.	3 Student stands to the side of the puck bringing the stick back below their waist and following through below their waist totally aware of their surroundings.
