The purpose of this unit is to facilitate student learning about the world in which we live. The student will use technology to conduct internet research in order to be able to answer questions about their assigned country’s resources, culture, government, religion, geography, political atmosphere, social events, recreational pastimes, history, economics, etc. After the student has gathered all of the research, they will synthesize the information and write a report about their country.

This assignment will serve as a basis for your final research paper, your annotated bibliography, and your project pitch.

Students are to create a 3-5 minute stand up comedy skit and present it to the class. Props are optional, but limited to 2 only. Two of the "comdic/joke lines" must be original using criteria learned about creating jokes. 3 of the lines may be borrowed, but need to make sense with the overall presentation and must not be vulgar, crude, racist, or inappropriate in any way. In the written presentation the students must acknowledge the person(S) whose work they borrowed.

A creative and informative visual aid for Art History

Students will use a topic or theme to show creativity in their display.

Students will create flashcards using 3 x 5 index cards. Placing the word on the front and the definition on the back. All vocabulary words must be utilized when assigned.

Research and Present information on the history of any dance form/style, that includes visual aide and video reference.
