Students will be required to write a 4 page book analysis of Anne Fadiman’s book, The Spirit Catches You and You Fall Down and submit through Safe Assignment. The book analysis will be evaluated on its originality and connections made to other materials and topics covered in the course

Each student will write a (10-12 double-spaced pages) research paper on a topic concerning health in our community (e.g., diabetes, obesity, tobacco control, chronic disease, health inequities, communicable diseases, family planning, immunizations, emerging populations, environment, social determinants of health, disabilities, etc). I must approve topics beforehand. Your paper needs to include a bibliography citing at least 5 credible sources in an acceptable citation format (e.g., MLA, Chicago Style, etc.).
