Your board game can be based on one that is already in existence such as Monopoly or Trivial Pursuit. The final project should include connections between the novel and other real world or fictional experiences, luminated plot points that show the plot progression, a list of vocabulary words from the novel and their definitions and character charts that reflect the major characters from the novel.
