Students are to complete a weekly current events report using the following rubric as part of their Weekly Current Events Project.

Current Issues

The students will use the Internet to research current issues effecting the world (i.e. gas prices, education, taxes, war, etc.). Each student will obtain 5 facts and add 3 of their personal opinions regarding the selected topics. Using Images from the Internet, MS Word and Wordart, the student will create a flyer(s) related to the selected issue. They will copy and paste 2 pictures and use bullets to label their facts/opinions. The flyers will be printed and submitted for a grade.
