The students will put together an instructional presentation in ELA to show during their end-of-year oral project. The presentation will contain information that the students collected during their academic experiences in the sixth grade. The oral presentation must be in movie form, game board or the like, or a video game.

Write a friendly letter as per Social Studies criteria. Remember to correctly use and punctuate all the parts of the friendly letter.

The student will use the five steps of the writing process to effectivey develop a three-paragraph expository essay utilizing data from Social Studies research

Students will write a book report as prescribed by instructor. Genre of literature and composition format will be assigned will be assigned by Professor Foote'.

The student will fill out a book report form on a book of their choice. They will need to include the title, author, what the book is about, why they like this book, and the best part about the book, as well as draw a picture of what they saw in the book

Evaluates a narrative/personal essay using the CD/CM Chunck Paragraph Writing Method

The student groups will present Book Talks based upon the following criteria: Analysis Questions (5), Genre, Text-to-Text, Text-to-World, Text-to-Self

This book report will contain multiple paragraphs and will be limited to three word processed pages. Student name, date and period should appear in upper right corner of the page. First: The report should include the title and author of the book and a complete description of the main characters. Second: Descriptive Settings should be included (When and where did the story takes place?). Third: The main events should be included (What happened in the story?). Fourth: Why did you like or dislike the book? Fifth: Would you recommend this book to others. Sixth: The report should include a summary of the author's overall message and/or the theme of the book.
