The student(s) will create a board game for one of the regions of the British colonies. The board game will contain important details about the physical and political location, as well as cultural, economic, political facts, about the region and the colonies within. The game may be for 2 or 4 players. It must be playable!

The student(s) willput together a recruitment poster for one of the 13 British colonies. The poster will contain the name of their colony, at least three related pictures , a map with important physical and political locations identified, and at least five convincing reasons (could be cultural, economic, political) why immigrants should settle in their region.

Students will be assigned to groups that represent a particular British colony. Each group will research historical facts about their assigned colony and produce a pamphlet, travel poster or television advertisement in which they attempt to entice colonists to settle in their colony. Students must include the information specified in the directions. Audience members will be asked to write down whether or not they would be willing to move to that city-state based on the advertisement. 100 pts.

Students will create a song in any style to tell the story of one of the revolutions. Students must record the performance for the class or perform the song live. Students can also use YouTube to create a video as well. Lyrics and song choices MUST be school appropriate. Inappropriate lyrics or songs may result in a zero. A typed (Times New Roman, double spaced, 12 point font) or clearly handwritten copy of the song is to be handed in upon performance.
