The students will design a question in which they will plan, implement an investigation in order to answer said question

Students will research information on a specific geologic time period and prepare a presentation to persuade individuals to perchace a time share at the Geologic Times Resorts in your specific geologic time period.

You will be exploring the life cycle of a star by writing down the various phases of a star's life on one side of a star cut-out, and creating a comic or story on the other side about the day in the life of a certain phase of that star, i.e. "a day in the life of a white dwarf". Be sure to use your research to present the most accurate information and include detail in describing the life of a star. For the story or comic, be creative and have fun with it! Use the rubric to guide you for this project.

This rubric will be used to evaluate how a student works and participates during activities (work, class, meeting, assembly, etc.). I have purposely weighted each criteria this way as I believe this rubric will be fairer to the lower level students that are trying to participate rather than those that are largely unresponsive in class - Fair = 3 and Poor = 1
