Create an Urban and Rural Community Storyboard to show what you have learned about what elements are in each community.

The students are to pick a state and create a traveling brochure. Thee students will be answering questions and discovery snap shots that best illustrates their state. Some of the questions will consist of state flower, bird, and nickname. Illustrations can consume of museums, landscapes, or Amusement Parks. The students will then need to print the information and create a traveling brochure in which will be present to the class.

Students choose an object in the Solar System to "visit" then send a postcard to a loved one describing their adventure. This activity combines science knowledge, and writing skills.

Each student must create a biography on an American President following the aforemention steps in the webquest. The biography is due Friday, March 26, at the begining of class. we will do the presentations that day in class. Any presentations that are not completed that day will be finished on Monday the 29.

Students choose a President and gather information about him to make a presentation. The presentation is an interview of a past President.

After selecting a research question about world history, the student will write a two-page essay that responds to the question. The essay must contain a thesis statement with supporting information. The essay must use a minimum of three sources and must include a bibliography; no more than two sources may be from the Internet. The student should read the "Accelerated" column of the rubric to understand the expectations for high-quality work.

Your job is to create a brochure that would convince others to travel to your planet in the solar system. You should include some basic facts about your planet, what people could do if they choose to vacation there, and what adaptations you will provide for them so that they can survive. You are also welcome to make a model of your planet to go along with your brochure.
