Midterm Assessment Speaking Rubric

You will create a powerpoint in Spanish that describes your family members. This could be your actual family or a made up family. You will create a minimum of 6 slides and a maximum of 10. You will include information such as where they are from (ser), what they like to do (2), what they don't like to do(2), their age (tener), how you and the person are related, complete sentences of two activities that they do, and one that they don't do. Make sure to include two adjectives that describe them and two that don't. You will include an image for each slide. The picture does not have to be the actual person. You will then narrate your family descriptions in Spanish and record them.

Student will describe how they use technology on a dialy basis here in the U.S. to a student from Guatemala.

For vocabulary or spelling, use with fill in the blanks (reading and writing) and or sentence construction.

Expectations for verbal responses

Class is based on reading and discussing readings.

Students will be required to provide oral/written presentation about a Spanish Cultural topic (conversations, relationships, cultures, politics)
