Students will create a project of their choice addressing these questions: What themes or aphorisms best reflect your life experience? How have these themes or aphorisms addressed issues related to your school and personal communities? For example: family, relationships, accomplishments and career plans/goals. How have these themes been informed by your literary education?

Each learner will interview a senior (65+) and provide a report. The person interviewed and information collected shall remain confidential. You may select anyone you deem to be appropriate; family members who are not your parents and friends, for example.

Students will give a persuasive speech to their peers. They will be assessed on content and delivery.

The purpose of this rubric is to provide the student with feedback of the revision before submitting as a final draft.
