Student will create an original poem on any school appropriate topic consisting of 4 stanzas of up to four lines each. Student put poem on either construction paper or small poster board. 8 x 11.5 okay. Make poem visually appealing. Poem must be in Spanish and use vocabulary and grammar from Spanish One.

Oral Presentation in Spanish: YO SOY

Completion of set tasks. Student must complete with 80% in order to pass.

You will build a monster using your name and symmetery. Connecting and creating your monstruo you need to label all the parts you create and color and write a 5 sentences about your monstruo.

You will build a monster using Play-Doh and label all body parts that are present. There must be a minimum of 12 body parts. Be sure to use the correct articles and follow all pluralization rules. The designs are to be creative and clear. All body parts are to be clearly and correctly labeled. Once you have completed designing, you will ensure your name is displayed beside the monster. Your work will be assessed by your peers for accuracy. You will have a max. of 15 min. to create and label your monster. The purpose of the activity is to review and apply relevant vocabulary, so try to pick body parts that you will make referance to more often when you speak French.

Students brainstorm, create and present a dialog in the target language.

You will create a "creature or monster", name it and describe it. You will label 10 body parts. You will write 5 complete sentences describing your character's personality. You will describe his illness or infirmity and say what he is doing to get better.

Halloween Story Presentation

Students are presenting their ofrendas and barriletes for the end of the Unit Dia de los Muertos.

Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management.

Students view a film on greetins and Small talk and then where asked to pair up and create an interview in the target language.

Students will present their pinata and stories on their traditions

Students describe a picture using reflexive verbs. They record the presentation and upload it to Athena. Students had 15 minutes to prepare and could keep notes but could not write a paragraph and then read.
