Students will learn how to draw with contour lines and then draw a seated model who has some props and is draped with a patterned cloth. Students will review the color wheel and the groups of colors that it indicates. Students will be introduced to Gustav Kilmt and his style of painting with decoration and embellishing with gold and metallics. This rubric measures the final outcome.

These projects are to help us understand the 2 main types of communities in Saskatchewan. We will use pictures and descriptions to show that we understand.

Students will create a painting inspired by the style of a specific artist. This term artists are Georgia O'Keefe or Vincent Van Gogh

Write a Haiku poem about storm of choice and illustrate poem with water colors or colored pencils

The learning goal is for the students to understand mixing primary colors to achieve secondary colors while exploring expressively through finger painting.

Students identify color temperature and create a contour paper collage. Based on Matisse cut outs.
