Student must write a 1,000 word research paper about the assigned diet give to them by the instructor. Student will them create a 10-15min. Power Point presentation discussing the main topics and facts of their paper.

8th Grade power point presentations on a given nutrition topic

Student is to create a power point presentation of 10 - 12 slides (including introductory and concluding page) that teaches how to handle an emergency such as vehicle malfunctions, a collision, or poor driving conditions. Slides are to include accurate information and pictures. Student must present information & power point presentation to the class. Information must be in depth; student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered - NO PLAGERISM. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL.

THE STUDENT WILL BE ABLE TO CLASSIFY FOODS INTO THE PROPER FOOD GROUPS.

Students will be asked to research a topic involving the nervous system. Students will teach each topic to the class. A variety of visual aids may be used. Students will either complete a model or create an activity to further their presentation.
