The students will put together an outline of a section in the text and then they will construct a poster representation for their particular section of a chapter in the text. Students will follow standard outline form layering the information from general to specific. The poster will include relevant information, creativity, and quality of work.

Create a poster to educate your class about a specific drug. You must include the classification of the drug, its actual name and any known street names, how it affects your body & mind, its level of addictiveness, where it is found, what it looks like, why anyone might want to take it, a list of similar drugs and any other information that you think may be useful.

You will receive a brief description of symptoms and test results of a patient. Your job is to diagnose the condition, and to write a paper that explores physiological/anatomy principles and processes of one system with some depth. Use this rubric as a guide while you prepare your paper to make sure you have thoroughly addressed all requirements. First, requirements are explained. Second, a grading rubric is provided to explain points associated with each aspect of the paper. Third, instructions for the bibliography and citations are given. Finally, a checklist is provided to help you review your paper/case study before you submit it.

Students will be assigned a group and controversial topic pertaining to drug use and abuse. The topic will contrast a different group’s topic. (Ex. One group may be for moderate drinking while another against moderate drinking).
