DANCE PERFORMANCE RUBRIC

This rubric is a task-specific rubric. Students will be assessed on 5 categories or skills. They will receive a check mark in each category or skill that is executed properly. The rubric is worth 25% and each check is worth 5 points. Please place a check or an x by the word score. If they receive an x, this means they were not successful in the specific category and they do not receive the 5 points.

Volleyball Overhand Serve Rubric

This is the most important shot. The most important thing is the weight transfer. The weight transfer is like a lot of other sports such as baseball and golf. Your weight will transfer from your back to your front leg. Stand perpendicular to your target with your stick cupped on the puck and the puck behind your back foot. Transfer your weight as you move the puck forward, and follow through. When you finish your follow through, your stick should be pointing towards your target at around your waist.

The Techniques of the Tennis Volley

Subject is to use all proper techniques and kick a football through the uprights within the set time limit of two and a half seconds from snap of the ball to the holder.

Breakdown of what a catch should look like, not accuracy, but form.

The criteria of overhand throwing not accuracy.

Using basic principles of overhand throwing and catching

This is used for a homework assignment for the skill of kicking a ball.

Students can dribble a ball while standing in one spot and moving to another spot.

Learners will learn how to dribble a basketball useing the refinements the teacher gave them.
