Basic science essay rubric

This rubric is based on students math notebook having these catagories: notes/homework, P.O.W., Frayer Models, Formulas/Rules, Graphs

This is the format we will use to score your essays on social issues of Science.

Assignment You will write a 3 page essay response to the writing prompt the text, using journals, class discussions, quizzes, and any other materials we have used in class (all in green folder). Discuss the social issue presented and propose a solution to the problem. Writing Prompt What causes juvenile crime? How has the judicial and criminal justice system dealt with this problem so far? Propose a better alternative to this system.

Essay looking at the moral and ethical issues surrounding the use of modern biotechnology.

This rubric can be used to evaluate the performance of science experiments.

Hubble has, since 1990, opened up the publics eye to the wonders of the unvierse. This project aims to explore some of these discoveries.

Each student is to design their own planet with its own climate and if they want lifeforms. The only requirement is that it must have water in a liquid form.
