In your professional career as a Human Resources specialist, you will likely encounter claims under the Ontario Human Rights Code. Indeed, it is very likely that you may at one point in time be on the opposite side of a claim yourself. This assignment requires learners to file, reply to and adjudicate upon claims made under both of these statutes in a role-play. Learners will arbitrarily be assigned into teams of 2. From the set of facts, prepare a legally enforceable employment contract on behalf of your employer. You must ensure that that contract is not unconscionable or so one-sided that it would not be enforceable. It must comply with the law of Ontario.
