In a small group, you will prepare a 20-30 minute presentation outlining the following: • Historical background of theorist • Key concepts of development theory • Detailed description of stages, if appropriate • Current perspectives that may influence development • Limitations and contributions of the theory • Instructional practices that support development based on the theory You are expected to teach your colleagues by using an assessment component to check for student learning, relevant technology, and substantiated research. Please provide a “take away” for your colleagues to reference when creating age appropriate lesson plans.
