You are to use an online interactive (Timetoast, Tiki-Toki) timeline creation tool to build your timeline. The timeline must have 8 or more events. Each event must have the name of the event or person, it's date, a description of the event or person importance / significance, an image that illustrates the event, and the event must be accurate. Last entry should be your work cited information. When the timeline is done, students MUST post on Google Drive.

The WebQuest format can be applied to a variety of teaching situations. If you take advantage of all the possibilities inherent in the format, your students will have a rich and powerful experience. This rubric will help you pinpoint the ways in which your WebQuest isn't doing everything it could do.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your ThingLink presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. TASK: You will choose an European coountry and create a three-fold brochure highlighting the country for English-Speaking travellers to the country. It should be mostly visual with brief, three to four sentence explanations of each picture. You might include the culture, traditions and food

The students will create a cartoon to show an understanding of their chosen topic in World Religions

Create a Draw My Life picture essay in order to present your topic.

The student will create an original piece of artwork from American history. The artwork should be at least 14x17 inches in size. The artwork needs to demonstrate artistic ability. A written explanation in MLA format must be submitted through Google Classroom.

The student will make a copy of a war poster. The student will research the poster and submit a written document about the history of the poster. The paper must have a work cited page using the MLA format.The poster size - NO smaller than 14x17 inches. DO NOT ATTEMPT IF YOU ARE NOT ARTISTIC!!!

The students will work in groups to put together a state Learning Poster. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to their state. Students will provide the information listed on their requirements sheet.

Create a magazine that deals with any topic in American history. You must have copy, headlines, pictures/illustrations, page numbers and look like a real magazine.

Create a video timeline that is at least 4 minutes long using software that allows for the transtition of many photos. It is VERY important that the pictures are in chronoloical order.

This rubric will assess the student's successful production to create an historical event using a claymation.

This rubric will be used to grade final exam projects.

Build a model of a historic item (plane, weapon, building). Research your choice and write one to two paragraphs about your model. You MUST follow MLA format for the written aspect of this project.
