French Monuments Project
Your travel agency asked you to create a poster/a model for the store about a French monument .you will have to write a paper on the specific monument of Paris of your choice. You need to cover the topics listed. Make sure that your project is neat and organized with titles, and that it is attractive to the client. When preparing your presentation it is vital that you thoroughly research your chosen monument. Use the following points to research: Factual details about the monument • How tall is it? (how big) • When was it built? • Why was it built? • Who built it? • Are there any interesting facts for the visitor? Factual details for the tourist • What are the opening hours of the monument? • How many tourists visit the monument each year? • How do you get to the monument by public transport? • When is the monument open? • How much does it cost to visit the monument?

Mayan/Aztec/Incan/Olmec--Ancient American Peoples Research
Students will research as groups the Mayan, Aztec, Incan, or Olmec ancient American tribes/peoples. Information should include: (1) Where and when they lived; (2) Housing; (3) Clothing; (4) Food; (5) Religion; and (6) Lifestyle/Social - Culture. Final class presentations should include a poster with AT LEAST three facts per research area and AT LEAST two meaninful class participatory activities. The poster will also include AT LEAST two quality maps that show the territory of the tribe and their relationship to the world. Also included should be AT LEAST 4-8 visual representations/pictures/drawings that add to the knowledge being presented.

Spanish Country Project
The student will present to the class the details of a particular Spanish-speaking Country. The temple provided will contain information about the selected country, capital, population, size (miles or Km.), information about the famous people , important products of the country and interesting facts. Additionally, students must include two drawings: one of their selected country's map with all major cities labeled, and another of the country's flag with appropriate coloration.

Spanish I Sports Visual Project

La Rutina Diaria: Book Rubric

Fashion Show Rubric
Work with your classmates. Individually, write a detailed description of the clothes you are going to wear the day of the show. Childrens Book -- Describing People's likes and dislikes
The assignment is to create a children's book that describes you and 3 other friends (real or imaginary). The project will be divided as follows. One page or two ajoining pages will be used to describe you with "me gusta" phrases. Your description of yourself must include 5-7 things or activities you like or dislike. Each friend will also have a page where you will use "le gusta" sentences to describe 3-5 of their likes or dislikes. Each page that describes a character must include an image of that person, the sentences describing the person and visuals that confirm what the character likes or dislikes.
