Students will create a newscast about the differing perspectives of the Gettysburg Address. They will write a script of the newscast, create visuals and record their multi media presentation to the class site .

The students will put together a poster to show during their oral presentation. The poster will contain information that the students collected regarding the community through interviews and internet research. The group presentation must be aligned with the poster.

Students are to collect information about their favorite musician or band and present it to the class through a key note presentation.

Group Dramatic Scenes

Students create a picture book for elementary students based on Louis Armstrong's "What A Wonderful World." Students should use analogies to describe what they consider their own wonderful world. Measures the success of a story illustration. Shows student understanding of the project and original ideas in drawing and other media of choice including watercolor painting and mixed media. Shows inventiveness in the illustrations that portray the story.

Students will begin to write a book for elementary students. Topics for the book may be taken from any of their other content area books.

Choose your favorite artist/group prepare a presentation. Your presentation can be in one of the following categories: Poet, Lyricist / Composer, Actor, Artist, Photo Journalist. Presentation includes group member names, biographical information(single artist) and career highlights. Presentation must also feature at least one school acceptable musical examples of the biggest hits/personal favorite song by the artist/group.
