Pre-Ap project - Create an atom model of one of the first 20 elements. Then, answer the questions about your element and give a 2-5 minute presentation on what you found about your element.

Each student will create a poster identifying the parts of speech. Each poster must include four parts of speech. For each part of speech, there must be a definition of the part of speech, at least two examples of that part of speech used correctly in different sentences and an illustration that depicts a consistent theme on the entire poster.

This rubric is used to assess and assignment geared for middle school students. They were asked to create an energy company that will produce energy for the United States. Then they were also asked to debate why they are the best company for the United States choose.

Students will create a grid line system of 1cm x 1cm to reproduce a 5cm x 5cm scale drawing of a candy bar wrapper or chip bag.

Students design and create in groups, a board game of their theme, about the Lewis and Clark Expedition. It must cover at least 2 content areas (map skills, important people, rivers, Indians, etc.), have clear rules, and be able to be played by 4 people.

This Rubric may be used for any Science Unit.

Students create brochure as a rock travel agent describing the different journeys rocks who choose their agency can go on. They describe the changes that occur as they travel between different areas of the earth.
