The students will work in partners to put together a brochure for display. The brochure will contain relevant information directly related to the theme of Ancient Egypt. Students will include the required elements - title, 5 themes of geography, food, clothing, shelter, art, and contributions to society in Ancient Egypt.

Rubric to assess students understanding of ancient Egypt after internet enhanced lesson including mummification, pyramids, and the geography of Egypt. Students will create a travel brochure highlighting three major sites one might visit in Egypt, including photos or drawings and descriptions of what might see and learn while there.

Brochure Requirements The brochure must explain/describe one of hte key topics in the Foundations of Government lapbook. It must be letter-size paper, in a trifold arrangement. The brochure is to have a minimum of six (6) facts, and two (2) orignial graphics. The graphics must explain/enhance the topic of the brochure. The text of the brochure will be assessed for grammar and spelling and must be in the author's own words.
