The students will develop a shoebox sized diorama depicting their research animal in its habitat. The project will contain the following: model of their animal.; any plants or other animals from that habitat, and an accurate depiction of their assigned habitat. The student will produce a "zoo plaque" with required information from six categories. The plaque must be in the format given in class.

Students will research a science career of their choosing and then display their findings in one of four options for a presentation.

Students will explore a career they are interested in and present what they found. Students will utilize resources from the school library, internet, and community figures to gain a better understanding of the career they are researching, and how the scientic method is an integral part of its daily tasks.

Students will create their own one page flyer to attempt to persuade a non-profit organization to use their design for an aid package drop after a natural disaster in Thailand.

Students will create their own advertisement to educate others about the need for low cost, effective water filters and how to avoid water contamination.
