The model can be 3-D or on a poster. The model must include and be proportional to all moons. The model must be colored and labeled correctly. The students' presentations must include model creation, planet's relation to the sun, distance from the sun, days in year, hours in day, moon names & count, and any "cool" piece of information found during research. This project will be used for a science, language, and reading grade. All research done for this project must be recorded.

Student will create a food web with animals found in a specific biome that they choose. The student must name the animals, habitat, abiotic/biotic factors in the habitat, show the flow of energy in the food web, and classify the organism as producer, consumer, or decomposer. Please be creative. Use any household materials you would like. Example: Use a poster board and cut-outs from a magazine to demonstrate your food chain. Students will need to list all resources used for the project.

Students have to replicate by building a model of a North American Indian dwelling using materials that are authentic in representation (looks like the materials they would have used) and the structure is landscaped (the "ground" looks like the environment in which the house would have been found). Must include a label with: 1. Student name and class 2. Name of tribe and region 3. Name of dwelling 4. Brief Description of dwelling including materials they would have used to build it.
