Students have selected one of the sonnet types below and have written an original sonnet based on that structure (Spencerain, Petrachan, or Shakespearean). They are expected to employ, manipulate, and recite various poetic devices with mastery during the recital of this original sonnet.

Group Poetry Analysis based on assigned poem

The Odyssey Group Project Rubric. Can be used with any type of group project.

Students will be assigned a specific psychological approach to research on and shall be divided in groups of four. Students will need to synthesize the information they gather as a means of preparing a group project of which they will present to their classmates. Each member of the group will be responsible of researching an articles as well as to synthesize the information they read form these articles. Then, each individual member of the group shall be responsible of creating three power point slides and will also be accountable of presenting their own three slides to their classmates.

Groups will create a PowerPoint, Prezi, or other presentation using technology. Each member will be responsible for their part of the presentation and all parts of the character presentation described in the handout will be followed.

Each group will create a prezi that demonstrates their knowledge of either the New England, Middle or Southern Colonies.

Each group was to create a Prezi presentation on a given critical approach to analyzing literature. This presentation must be professional, creative, engaging to the rest of the class, and address the assigned content.
