Develop a Power Point presentation to share the most important information about your criminal to the class through an interactive, engaging project or presentation. Include direct instruction that incorporates vocabulary, and have the class do some kind of activity.

You will design a "comic style" book on a criminal. Your comic will need to include at least 4 pages. You need to have a title page, colorful illustrations, captions describing what is happening in your story, and possibly word bubbles. This comic book should be neat and creative. Have fun with this assignment! Use proper spelling and be very neat, please.

Criminal research paper - Your research paper must be 2 pages in length. Cover page and reference page do not count as content page; Describe his/her life, describe some interesting things about him or her and how forensic science helped convict the criminal. At least 3 references must be included in paper.

Used for grading poems written by students.

You will be asked to create a short play/role play the detective who served on the case of your criminal or the criminal himself. You will act out your role play to the class

Based on your readings and research, create a photo journal that reveals and supports your growing understanding of your chosen criminal.

Students will choose a criminal to write a poem about. The students will go through the writing process (prewriting, drafting, editing, revising and publishing) to create a poem that contains 4 stanzas with 4 lines in each stanza. The poem will have a consistent rhyme scheme throghout the poem. The student will type their poem and paste it onto a piece of construction paper. On the border around the poem, the student will create symbols that represent their poem.

Students are to create a frontpage of a newspaper, covering the crime and trial of their criminal, by using the information found in texts, articles, journals. The Newspaper should include a full report of the crime, as well as other creative items such as pictures, etc.

Create a collage depicting your criminal. Tese pictures should be from magazines, newspapers, etc. Write a 2-3 sentences explaining your reasons for the pictures included. Collage should be NO SMALLER than 9X13.

Students are to design and produce the front page of their own newspaper. Each student will produce an A3 size newspaper front page. Students will incorporate the major elements into their version of what a ewspaper should be, and the major components of a front page.
