Reflection on Lab Activity for Surface Tension Lab

Students will work as a team to problem solve and create a skit that uses all of the science tools/random classroom items to create an entertaining improve skit.

Students will create a song,rap or a parody. This song can be performed live, audio recording or music video. The song must have three examples of physical and chemical changes and the differences between those two changes in matter.

Students were challenged to design an instrument using non-renewable resources and their audience/testers will be kindergarten. Students must calculate the percentage of renewable and non-renewable resources used and projects will be donated to Towne Park.

Write a story or play from the perspective of a rock going through all of the stages of the rock cycle. Then make a iMovie of some form of visual presentation using technology of your story. Include all of the key words from the rock cycle including igneous, metamorphic, sedimentary, sediment, magma, weathering (physical and chemical, and erosion. Include what FORCES are causing those changes.

This rubric is meant to help guide in the creation of your Google Slides presentation project. Each category in the far left column represents a component (part) of the project that will be taken into consideration when calculating the final grade for this assignment. Review the rubric carefully before, during and after the creation of the Google Slides presentation, to ensure that all intended elements of your presentation have been represented and all other criteria have been met.

Students will construct a string of chain reactions that leads to a chemical reaction. The result of this chemical reaction should result in the release of CO2 gas and should inflate a balloon.
